Dinner Party

Headed to a friend's apartment for a lovely dinner party- amidst the crazy marking of exam scripts. She made a lovely batch of Rosemary & Peanut Cookies. They were fantastic. I never thought about using rosemary in a sweet dish.

We had some Bubble Tea (or Boba tea as it is known here) a few weeks back. We saw some waitresses having a bunch of Bubble Teas and we asked them where they got it. Bubbleology. :) The shop was decorated with beakers and test-tubes. Very creative. We tried the Matcha and Jasmine Boba Teas. So so so good. Milky and so yummy.

The waiters wear this cool labcoats with the word 'Bubbleologist' written on them.

We tried making our own Jasmine and Matchas. I had the Jasmine. Turned out so so well.

Played Settlers of Catan. Love this game. So happy to finally get to play it... in German, nonetheless. I now know the German words for a hamlet, a street, a knight and a development- among others. :)

I enjoyed frying up some feta with Panko breadcrumbs. Our friend has the best ideas. Such a good cook. We had pasta later on at night but I got too carried away with the Champions League final to remember to snap some shots.

Her friend made lovely ginger choc pots. So amazing. Another combination which I would have never thought of. Stewed ginger in dark chocolate. So interesting... and it works!

With Coldplay's new album playing in the background and the drizzling rain on the window pane, the images of these wonderful new additions to my food palate leave me feeling very sleepy and cozy. Perfect time to go to bed. Night all...
