We have a mobile that spins around projecting twinkling stars and the moon up onto our ceiling. For a while it was the feature of our cuddle sessions with Callum. We told him we would go camping when he grows up and we would see real stars up in the sky. He was very thrilled with the idea and would bring it up everytime we cuddled. So, we thought it would be a good idea it would be to bring him camping for his birthday. We decided to try out the very toddler-friendly option of glamping.
Cofield Wines has beautiful and well-decorated tents. It also had an fully-equipped outdoor kitchen section with a barbeque. We grilled some steaks, sausages and burgers for our dinners.
It was around the time of the full moon and the view was stunning.
We arrived with ample time to watch the sunset across the vineyard.
There was a creek nearby where we went turtle-spotting.
The progression of oddity continues now with two.
The breakfast at the vineyard's Pickled Sisters cafe was the best breakfast we ever had. They hold cooking classes too, to no surprise. The food was very delicious. Callum enjoyed using the knife and fork like a proper grownup and had hot cocoa.
There was a telescope on the premises too. Inside the tent, there was king sized bed and air-conditioning. I baked a chocolate cake as requested by Callum and brought it along to the campsite. Callum enjoyed opening his little presents which included bubbles and glow-in-the-dark sticks.
There were games left from a wedding the night before and we had some fun after breakfast.
The evening views were really beautiful. We could see Mars and Jupiter very clearly along with the other constellations. We spent the night outside playing with the vineyard's friendly dog before it was Callum's bedtime.
They had solar garden lamps which carefully led the way to the separate toilet caravan which was very well-equipped and comfortable as well.
Highly recommend the glamping experience! Wouldn't mind if this was a yearly affair!
