A teaching stint in Singapore gave us an opportunity to celebrate Chinese New Year in Singapore for the first time. Thank you to all our relatives for being so helpful and welcoming! We stayed in a giant apartment- frankly too big for the 3 of us. It was back to uni days for me- handwashing our laundry. I had a lot of fun doing that. I cooked some Chinese New Year dishes for some of our dinners.
Changi airport is absolutely brilliant for children with sand art, giant playgrounds and more. We also weighed our precious 'cargo' who was 13.8kg!
We enjoyed some Korean BBQ and most of all.... the quintessential experience of eating durian by the roadside! We had fun meeting up with friends and enjoying lots of the local cuisine.
Thanks to Uncle Jared, Callum had his first music studio experience and he was over the moon.
He also had a blast jamming with daddy in a cosy music shop which we will definitely return to when visiting Singapore.
Callum's first experience with lion dances - quite terrifyingly noisy upclose but he grew to like it by the end of our trip.
Took numerous bus rides to get our durian fix.
Happy birthday to me!
Emirates took a family photo for us onboard. Definitely a trip to remember.
