I happened to read an article in the Daily Mail regarding life's simple pleasures and thought what a good reminder it is when we get swamped with stress.
The top 15 listed in the article were:

5.Fresh baked bread and good quality butter Not really for me, so I'm amending this to dunking a cookie into warm milk/hot water.
