Beautiful Santorini Day 8- Goodbye Oia!

Here it is: the final instalment of the best week of my life thus far. Every other holiday I've taken, blogging about them gets tiring from the 3rd post onwards. Not this one. After returning from Santorini, both him and I had 2 weeks of withdrawal symptoms. It was really a trip to remember. So as the curtains fall on this beautiful milestone, I relish the possibility that we will go back there someday. :)

Sending a postcard.

Oia's cute little post office

After which we took a final stroll around Oia, desperately trying to imprint the view of the caldera into our minds.

Got Ying a bracelet to remember the trip by. :) I love the island-ish design. It's his favourite colour too.

Seems only yesterday :)

Got myself a bracelet too with the Greek Nazars on it :) His Claddagh ring and my engagement ring :D

The Bakery which fed us during our stay. If you speak to Ying about the trip, you would have no doubt heard about this bakery. He has to go there daily for his baclava fix. I loved the cheese pies- feta and gouda. YUM. The chicken pies were amazing as well.

Homemade cookies and traditional Greek cookies- they love hazelnuts and pistachios.

His usual conundrum: What to get arhhhh babe?????????

This rack has many cookies which have filling piped into them. Ah divine.

All my fav pies!

These are Ying's objects of temptation: the Kataifi.

Cannot pronounce but say custard and honey, Ying's there.

Walnut cake! Very good.

And alas, the pièce de résistance

My pies! How I miss thee.

Last looks at Ecoxenia.

Our huge family room- so happy for the free upgrade!

The happy never say, and never heard said, farewell- Walter Savage Landor
