Canberra Day 2: 9 Degrees
We set off to Parliament.
The Senate
A very blur shot of the House of Representatives
Uncle Isaac, Alex and myself
The rooftop.
Goofing around.
Specs to show us how people with disabled eyesight see the world
We explored The Old Parliament House Garden and saw the Timeline. We also visited The National Portrait Gallery. Sadly we weren't allowed to take any pictures.
We heard some questions by college students which solicited a look of disbelief from the person giving the tour lecture on the court:
1. "Is this building still in use?"
2. "Are there female judges?"
An adult woman piped in:
"I will ask a question on behalf of the students here I'm sure, is there a bathroom on the way to the next room?"
Headed to the Australian Mint where the stairs are made of silver... coins. :D I had previously bought a coin for Ying as a keepsake.
Took a walk at Lake Berley-Griffin- where sis and Alex took their wedding pictures.
Him screaming into the abyss....
The two gorgeous swans. Amazing how the birds are not chilly at all despite the icy cold weather.

After that, we headed to Weston Park to look for kangaroos as the sun was setting very soon. We tracked them down finally.
