Interim

After my previous update, we were swept away in a whirlwind which blew us all the way Down Under. The months of August to November 2017 flew by as we made our way through a haze of goodbyes and wrapping up life in London.

We spent the Autumn of 2017 with family, enjoying some sights around London and taking a trip to Nottingham to bid farewell to a place where we took our first steps together in the UK. So many fond memories of student life leading up to our engagement; to be back in the same spot with Callum where we previously took our engagement photos was entirely surreal. So much had changed too.We also made it a point to go to Bibury, one of our favourite places to visit. We stayed in a beautiful home and enjoyed some fresh trout from the farm.

Visited Sealife and Callum had a blast meeting the penguins.

Coffee and Southern Cross train rides.....

Callum's favourite songs by Julia Donaldson.

Callum got to sit in an actual digger!

We met up with some friends to say goodbye and visited Cambridge again.

Apple-picking....

Trampoline-jumping....

Callum's first unaided drawing of a digger- not bad at all for a 2 year old! He also managed to guess Uncle Michael's St Paul's Cathedral.

Had to bid farewell to our favourite Horniman Museum and Mr. Bohcoo 'the Walrus'.

Before we knew it, it was time to go!

Flying that far with a toddler was exhausting to say the least. It was even more challenging when both my guys had motion sickness. I was busy catching Callum's vomit with both hands a total of 4 times. Poor airplane staff.

Callum turned Two!

It was really great to be able to celebrate his birthday together with family in Malaysia. He enjoyed drinking coconut water and the humidity did wonders for his eczema. His skin healed up so much in those two weeks and never did go back to its former state even after moving to Australia.

The genius egg-free Yam Cake made by my mother-in-law and Callum cookies.

Merry Christmas in Canberra!

Singing in a boat~!

Apple doesn't fall far from the tree
