We had a short weekend away from the hustle and bustle that is London. We stayed in a beautiful, cosy B&B which is run by the most hospitable and friendly couple, Mario and Viv. Strolls by the sea and the breathtaking cliffs sent memories of Santorini flooding back. What just a few breaths of salty air can do. I'll let the pictures do the talking. I present the calm that is Eastbourne.
The scale of that wave must be like a tsunami to the seagull yet because of wings, it fears nothing.
Seaweed path
Oh to sail away....
Take flight
Dark clouds hovering
Birds of a feather flock together
I could sit and stare at the waves all day long
The best breakfast- cereal/fruit combo ever!
Fresh fruit- pomegranates, kiwi, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, oranges, nectarines, apple and watermelon. Bursting with flavour.
Marbling amidst the chalky cliff
The scale of the towering cliffs against us mortals
Green and blue
Inches from the edge- kudos to the husband's unwavering knees- my favourite shot of the lot. Mixture of being alone on the edge, courage, stability, recklessness, caution and strength. Much like that lighthouse.
View from the top
Another favourite shot- to be free and fly high
I got to observe how these massive seagulls land on window sills. The grace and agility of slowing down just in time before crashing into the window pane was marvellous to watch.

Great pics! Awe inspiring - It is my Father's world.
Lovely pictures... Many desktop savers there. Instagrammed? I have the same picture of a seagull in the blue sky. Didn't like the photo with the towering cliffs though. My paranoia sets in just looking at the photo.
Very nice shots. Mastered techniques already huh. Great on perspectives, framing, and timing. Editing too? The place looks lovely.. and what a cereal fruit combination!
OnnN: Yes, beautiful isn't it. We get to ponder about God all the time when we see the beauty of His creation.
Che: Not instagrammed. Just tried my hand at some editing. Next batch- I'll do without. :) Just the sea gives me the feel of nostalgia. Haha why paranoia- scared landslide? It's majestic.
Anon (Yih?): Thanks! Our tummy rumbles from the thought of that cereal combo again
